First Trip of 2011

I'm heading to Atlanta next week for meetings with Steve Burge of OSTraining.  I have created over 120 videos for OSTraining - and have taught live classes in Denver, Cincinnati, New York and Chicago.

I'm definitely taking the slight detour and heading through the "Dragon's Tail"... 318 curves in 11 miles.  Its one of the most fantastic 11 miles on a bike in the country... I really can't wait.

The trip will be 499 miles and should take about 10 hours.

I have a new mount for my iPhone4 - and I plan on taping the best parts of the Dragon's Tail if the weather cooperates...

Whooooooo hooooooo!

Riding the Dragon's Tail

On Friday, June 19, 2009 I rode my '84 Goldwing down to Atlanta for a meeting with Steve Burge from OSTraining.com.  I did Joomla training with them in Cincinnati, Denver, New York and Toronto last fall.

I decided, more at the last minute, to take Hwy 129 down from Knoxville on my way to Atlanta.  It adds a bunch of time, but I was hoping it would be fun.  What I didn't realize, was that the route I chose was the world famous Dragon's Tail (http://www.tailofthedragon.com/ - retailer nearby).  318 curves in 11 miles... insane!!!

Here's the video I shot - about 2/3 of it... lots of fun...  only one close call :)
